Lessans Camp JCC is a place where every child in the greater Washington D.C. area — regardless of developmental ability — can experience the joys of summer camp. Our nationally recognized inclusion program makes each individual feel connected and that they belong in our community.

At Lessans Camp JCC, campers have a summer of fun that will benefit their lives for years to come. When campers earn their deepwater bracelets, they’re building self-esteem and confidence. When they reach the top of our climbing wall for the first time, we know they are learning to challenge themselves.

Our campers rave that Lessans Camp JCC is “the best place ever” because of daily adventures like: 

  • Swimming in our indoor and outdoor heated pools, cruising down our waterslides and splashing in our water play area.
  • Reaching new heights on our climbing tower.
  • Playing team sports in our newly constructed Bender JCC SportsPlex.
  • Acting, designing, improvising, and performing in our state-of-the-art Kreeger Auditorium.

Experienced professionals supervise and implement all Lessans Camp JCC programs, and campers are under the direct supervision of a trained staff member at all times.
