Corey Migdal
Corey is a Special Olympics athlete in soccer and basketball, and an alumnus of the Camp JCC inclusion program. As a youth, Corey was one of the first athletes in both the TOPS soccer program of Special Olympics and the unified basketball program. In 2014-2015, he was a member of the Maryland State Championship teams that earned a gold medal in soccer and a silver medal in basketball. Corey is a role model off the field, participating as a member of the Maryland Youth Leadership Forum and as a Montgomery County delegate to the Maryland State Athletes Congress. Corey’s passion for leadership and sports has carried over to his professional life as a guest experience representative for the Washington Nationals. The Special Olympics oath is: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.” Corey exemplifies the mission and purpose of Special Olympics, and of the Camp JCC inclusion program, in every aspect of his life.
