Jerry Wolman has played an active role at the professional level in four sports: baseball, football, hockey and basketball. The Washington-area developer was a driving force in developing Veterans Stadium, home to the Phillies and Eagles, Philadelphia’s professional baseball and football teams. From 1963 to 1970, he was the majority owner of the Eagles. He founded the NHL Philadelphia Flyers and owned the Spectrum Arena, which was home to the Flyers and the NBA Philadelphia 76ers. Jerry has been honored as B’nai Brith Man-of-the-Year and is an inductee in the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
