Greg Rosenbaum has been co-chair and co-principal owner of the Dayton Dragons, the High A Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, since 2014. He has been a partner in the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, formerly the Short Season affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, and has been a charter member of the MLB Draft League since 2015. He loved playing baseball growing up; his interest in the sport deepened when he covered the Harvard Baseball Team as a sportscaster for the college radio station, WHRB. He joined the Society for American Baseball Research 25 years ago. Greg has also served as chair of Minor League Baseball’s Government Relations Committee since 2021.

Greg has long had an interest in the Olympics. He was appointed team leader of the USA Modern Pentathlon Team for the Rio 2016 Olympics, where he proudly marched with Team USA in the opening and closing ceremonies. He remains involved with USA Pentathlon and other Olympic sports. Greg served on the boards of the US Olympic and Paralympic Foundation from 2013-2021 and the USA Swimming Foundation from 2013-2019. For his work with the US Army’s World Class Athlete Program, Greg was awarded the Superior Public Service Medal in 2017.

Greg was the 1974 College National Debate Champion for Harvard and later coached Harvard to the 1979 national title. In 2009, the Forward named him one of the 50 most influential Jewish Americans. He previously served as the CEO of Empire Kosher Poultry, chair of Jewish American Heritage Month, and on the US Holocaust Memorial Council from 2013-2017.
