Art Through The Lens

Art Through The Lens

Starts January 13, 2025 - Ends February 2, 2025

*Opening Reception: Sunday, January 26, 12:00-3:00pm (all are welcome)

The exhibition, Art Through the Lens, is a fantastic presentation of how local artists are using a camera to elevate their artmaking. This exhibit assembles the wide-ranging work of 10 art photographers who offer contemporary perspectives on landscapes and animals. Each photographer has created a narrative through their photographic collections ranging from personal and poignant to dramatic and powerful.

There are qualities that are universal to creating a compelling photograph. The work must have an intangible resonance and a sensitivity that links together images and ideas. The photographs must be well crafted and have power, sometimes in their simplicity and sometimes in their complexity. The work of these 10 photographers reaches the height of these qualities.
