During March, we celebrate women and the contributions and achievements they have made throughout history, culture, and society. The Goldman Gallery together with the Montgomery Art Association is honoring the many contributions of women by showcasing the work of twelve incredibly talented women artists. The artists’ achievements are presented in unique collections of varied genres and dynamic pieces entitled “Celebrating Women and Their Art. This very special exhibition will inspire you to explore the intricate details of 19th-century DC buildings, to feel the playfulness of abstract paintings, to be captured by the enchantment of glass mosaic portraits, and to almost to hear the creaks and thunderous roar of calving glaciers captured in landscape photography. This timely theme honors women in every community who have devoted their time and talents to producing art.
