Join the JCC Men’s Club for a special talk by Galia Steinbach, an Israeli-born former employee of the DC Holocaust Memorial Museum. Galia travelled to Bulgaria last June to explore the birthplace of her father. She learned far more than expected and left Bulgaria inspired to share the moving story of its Jews during World War II. Her Lecture chronicles the fate of 60,000 Jews WWII and the extraordinary acts of bravery that led to the rescue of the entire Bulgarian Jewish community from deportations and probable death.
