The “Rhapsody in Blue” art exhibit showcases a vibrant exploration of the emotional and dynamic qualities of the color blue, presented through stunning glass art created by members of the National Capital Art Glass Guild. This theme encourages artists to express the many nuances of blue across various styles and mediums, specifically focusing on glass. The exhibition captures the mood, emotions, and concepts tied to blue, ranging from tranquility and depth to melancholy and harmony, through diverse glass art pieces—abstract forms, landscapes, portraits, and surreal compositions. The goal is to present a visually engaging and cohesive display that celebrates the rich, varied stories and expressions embodied in a “Rhapsody in Blue.”
