Arnie Tranen

At Coolidge High School and Montgomery Junior College, he captained both the football and baseball teams, and continued to play football at George Washington University. While at Montgomery Junior College, he was also the Heavy Weight Boxing Champion.  During his athletic career, Arnie receive numerous honors, include DC All-High School Football, First Team; All American in football; and DC Coaches All-High School in baseball, First String Catcher and All-Metropolitan in both his junior and senior years. After college, he turned his athletic talents to coaching; he coached football, baseball and tennis at several Washington, DC high schools, including his alma mater.
