Haley Skarupa
After graduating from Wootton High School in 2012, Haley went on to play ice hockey at Boston College for four years on a full athletic scholarship and was named an All-American Collegiate Athlete. Graduating from BC in 2016, she is currently the second highest points leader in Boston College hockey history, men or women, with 115 goals and 244 total points in her four years. She ended up being selected for the US National Team and won 3 World Championships with Team USA in 3 consecutive years. Most recently, she represented Maryland and the United States of America at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The US Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team defeated Canada 3-2 in a shoot-out in the final, bringing home the gold medal.
Haley has participated in and attended events for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for pediatric cancer and KEEN Greater DC (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now), which empowers youth with disabilities by providing free and fun programs of exercise and fitness.
