As a nationally ranked tennis player, Hersh has won countless championship matches. He was ranked #1 by MATA in every division including the Men’s Open. He was the #1 singles and doubles player for Duke University having the most wins in this category in Duke history and was aii-ACC in both athletics and academics during all four of his years there. Hersh represented the U.S. in the 1985 Maccabiah Games in Israel and won a bronze medal.
