Jordan Zarin
As a youth competitive swimmer, Jordan began her swimming career with the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club. As a teen, she competed in the JCC Maccabi Games as a member of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington’s team. At the age of 14, Jordan was selected for the Maccabi USA swim team and competed at the 2001 Maccabiah in Israel, winning eight medals ― two gold, five silver and one bronze. After graduating from the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, Jordan attended the University of Connecticut where she was a four-year varsity swimmer, setting a record in the 100-yard butterfly and becoming a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Later, Jordan coached Special Olympics swimmers. Jordan is a professional staff member at the JCC Association of North America, working as host community liaison for the JCC Maccabi Games® and JCC Maccabi ArtsFest®.
