Morton H. Wilner is honored for his achievements as student athlete and leader. At Washington’s Central High, 1922-1926, he was captain of the baseball and football teams. The football team that he quarterbacked won the City Championship and Wilner was named All-City Quarterback. He was the 1948 Charles Hart selection as All-Time Quarterback, Washington DC. At the University of Pennsylvania, he was captain of the baseball team, voted Penn’s All-Time Second Baseman and played quarterback and safety on their football team. He was admitted to the DC Bar in 1933 and served as President of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, 1961-1964.
