Tony Kornheiser, who is known for a style all his own, has been a sportswriter for many years and the premier sportswriter in the Washington metropolitan area since he joined The Washington Post in 1979. His columns also appear regularly in The Washington Post Style section. He’s been a radio personality on Washington’s WTEM sports station since its inception in 1992, and in 1995, he published his first collection of columns, Pumping Irony.
