How do I use the My J App and make an account?
1. Download “My J” on the App Store or Google Play Store!
2. Register with the email associated with your Bender JCC Account (Community Hub)!
3. Check your email for a PIN!
4. Create your app password and enter your PIN to login.
How to make reservations on the My J App
How do I make reservations on the My J App?
1. Click on schedules. This will allow you to view classes and information for appointments such as personal training, private swim lessons, and nutrition wellness coaching. The schedule button will also allow you to view and reserve your next group exercise class.
2. Select schedule on the desired appointment type to request info or view trainer information.
3. Need to cancel? Click Reservations to view your schedule and cancel. Note: Group exercise class reservations can be canceled until the class begins. All other cancellations must occur at least 24 hours before reservation.

What can I do with MyJ?
Never miss a rep or class; be the first to book your favorite instructors and trainers!
· Browse schedules: Indoor and Outdoor Pools, Group Exercise, Weinberg Fitness Center, Wasserman Gymnasium
· Receive essential announcements and updates: Be the first to know about class cancelations or schedule changes.
· Make GroupEx reservations (soft launch on January 13) – you will be able to secure a space in any class up to seven days in advance
· Book and pay for personal training + private swim lessons (coming February 2025)
Do I need to download the app if I do not make reservations?
Yes, please download the app to get up to date facility hours, alerts and to find other useful information on our programs.
Do I have to make reservations for classes or the facility?
Yes, to assure we know you are coming and that you are able to get your spot in one of our classes or facilities, reservations are necessary. We do allow walk ins for but it is first come, first serve and we cannot guarantee space.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes, this option is only available if you are using the app. If a class is full, you will be placed on a waitlist and notified if a space opens up. The app will tell you how many spots are remaining in a class.
Who has access to the app?
All JCC Fitness memberships. This does not include the Program memberships (including supporting and sustaining).
Do I have to reserve through the app? Can I reserve through computer or laptop?
The My J App is the best place to make reservations and the only place to access alerts and waitlist. Coming in the future we will have an embedded web-based scheduler available – stay tuned! You must still be logged into the My JApp platform.

Close out the app on your phone by “tossing” it up. You can also hit the tiny wheel to refresh about the Outdoor Pool ring.
How do I logout of the app?
- Click on the top left menu icon (the hamburger menu)
- Under “General,” click “Account.”
- Click “Logout” on the Account Settings screen.
The app says my e-mail address is invalid, what do I do?
This is likely due to the e-mail that we have on our membership system not being the e-mail you are trying to use for the app. Please e-mail membership@benderjccgw.org to correct this issue.
Are the virtual classes available on the app?
- Yes! You can reserve virtual or hybrid classes via the app.
- You can launch the virtual classes from the app.
How soon can I make reservations?
Reservations presently can be made seven (7) days in advance.
When can I cancel my reservation?
Up to 60-minutes (1 hour) in advance of your appointment.
Why did the Bender JCC change to this new app?
It has been our goal to provide a unified member experience that allows for all reservations and communication to exist in one space. This allows our members to have full and clear access to our facility and all it has to offer, with up-to-the-minute information.
When will I be able to see pool schedules, gymnasium schedules, and reserve pickleball or racquetball through the app?
Other areas are due to come online in coming weeks or months.
